There are plenty of critters dotting the Illinois landscape, here we find a rare SW10 still in full UP markings working a cut of cars at the Grainland Co-op just west of Cruger Illinois.
This ex-UP switcher still lives on in middle Illinois. She was last painted at NLR in July of 1991, not so bad for almost 20 years worth of weathering.
This unit has an interesting history. It is the former UP 2352, nee MKT 382, nee KCC 782 which had the extended cab. Also note the fuel tank.
